The Elijah Wood-starring thriller GRAND PIANO was swept up by Magnet Releasing just a few months ago and now they have finally set a release date. You'll be able to hear the tune of GRAND PIANO when it opens theatrically on March 7th, 2014! I cannot wait to get my eyes on this flick. Wood has been making quite the presence within the horror genre lately and it doesn't appear that he'll be slowing down any time soon. Even better is the fact that John Cusack co-stars as the villain, so this is a win-win if you ask me!

The story concerns a once-great concert pianist who suffers from stage fright and comes back to perform after a five-year hiatus. Just when he's about to play the first bar, he notices somebody has written a threatening note on his music sheet. He's now forced to play his best concert ever to save his life as well as his wife's.

Eugenio Mira-helmed thriller was produced by Adrián Guerra and BURIED director Rodrigo Cortés. If you missed the film's first trailer we hit you folks with back in September, be sure to give it a watch because I think you'll be surprised at just how awesome this one looks. Watch the trailer HERE.
