Great new look at the titular dragon from The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug

JoBloJoBlo

We've seen glimpses of Smaug the dragon in the trailers and television spots for THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG, however there hasn’t been a good full view of the villain's body. Air New Zealand has decorated one of their Boeing 777-300s with an image of the dragon, and now we finally have a decent look at how Smaug will appear in the film. There is also a time-lapse video of the plane being prepared for the Smaug graphic, which is available below the images.

Air Smaug:

It might not be the best image of Smaug, but it is better than the previous ones, and I'm glad to finally get a look at the creature's face. It's going to be a blast to hear Benedict Cumberbatch's voice coming from the monster above. Some may have been disappointed with the last film, but I think most fans are going to be very happy with Peter Jackson's latest Hobbit adventure.

THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG will be released on December 13th, 2013.
