It’s that time of the year to think about all the DVD’s we want to see under the tree. Unfortunately, THE GRUDGE will be hitting the DVD shelves February 1st… But that’s ok, because we know what it’s going to have in store for us.

Specs include:

    Anamorphic widescreen transfer
    Dolby Digital 5.1
Audio commentary track with executive producer Sam Raimi and stars Ted Raimi & Sarah Michelle Gellar
Under the Skin” featurette with author and New York University professor Joseph LeDoux
Documentaries: “The Birth of The Grudge,” “Myth of Ju-on,” “Culture Shock: The American Cast in Japan,” “Designing the Grudge House,” “A New Direction” and “Understanding Takashi Shimizu”

Wow, looks like Sony is going all out for their blockbuster horror flick that has been racking up the big bucks since it’s release last October. I for one will be waiting for the DVD with high anticipation, as I honestly haven’t been that scared watching a movie in a very long time. Maybe it was the theater I saw it in, maybe I really wanted a good scare, but holy crap! I just about pooped myself it scared me so bad. Anyway, be sure to ask for gift certificates this X-Mas, and keep them around to use on February 1st (suggested retail price is 28.95!) when THE GRUDGE hits stores on DVD everywhere.
