Grudge is Real

THE GRUDGE scared the bejesus out of me when I first saw it in the theater- seriously, the walk through the parking garage in the dead of night afterwards may just have been the scariest walk of my life. For that to happen to any self respecting horror fan is saying a lot, so least to say that I can’t wait to check out next month’s THE GRUDGE 2.

Today the official site’s video BLOG (from Jason C) has a few new post-dated interviews from the set, all playing like the ‘grudge’ is actually real… After watching the first interview with Amber Tamblyn… well, just watch for those flickering lights and prepare to poop yourself!

Seriously though, the concept here is cool: act like the ‘grudge’ is cursing the production of this film, putting up all sorts of ‘weird’ stuff from the set that’s obviously made to look like the real deal, and show the actors in turmoil, stretching their acting abilities to a whole new level. Yes, it’s just another marketing ploy to push the hype for next month’s release, but it’s fun to watch regardless.

To check out the interview with Amber and the others, go ahead and click HERE. But be warned: the ‘grudge’ never forgives and it never forgets. THE GRUDGE 2 hits theaters Friday, October 13th.
