According to Geek.com, one of Marvel's oddest and biggest characters will be featured in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2. While the site doesn't have any details on how big of a role he will have or how he'll be used in the sequel, his possible appearance could be considered a spoiler, but remember, this is strictly just a rumor (albeit an awesome one) at this point.

Guardians of the Galaxy

Sources tell Geek.com that Ego the Living Planet, a sentient planet who in the comics has battled the likes of Thor, Galactus and the Fantastic Four, is set to appear in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2. Ego also once captured Silver Surfer in an attempt to consume his energies, and hired Rocket Raccoon to exterminate an infestation of space lice.

In addition to being incredibly intelligent, the planet also has total control over its entire mass down to the molecular level, possesses psionic abilities and can project blasts that are powerful enough to obliterate other worlds. If true, who would you want to voice Ego?

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 is due out on May 5, 2017.
