Guillermo del Toro’s Crimson Peak gets Mondo treatment and VR experience

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

I always enjoy checking out a new Mondo poster for a beloved classic, and the company's artists have created some fantastic imagery over the years. They don't just stick to older films, though – they also design artwork for new and upcoming releases as well, and such is the case with director Guillermo del Toro's latest gothic horror offering, CRIMSON PEAK. Mondo has created three posters for the film, which can be seen below and are also available at Mondo's booth at the San Diego Comic-Con, which is currently underway.

Starring Tom Hiddleston, Jessica Chastain, and Mia Wasikowska, CRIMSON PEAK is set for an October 16th release and tells the following story:

In the aftermath of a family tragedy, an aspiring author is torn between love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider.  Trying to escape the ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes, bleeds… and remembers.

Legendary Pictures, the production company behind CRIMSON PEAK, also has a presence at the SDCC, and to coincide with the event they have released a VR experience related to the film.

Created in partnership with Legend 3D, BEWARE CRIMSON PEAK

delivers an evocative and immersive virtual reality horror experience that sets up Allerdale Hall as a psychologically haunting destination.

The Legendary VR app can be downloaded here.
