Halloween Horror Nights Red Carpet Interviews: Terrifier, Stranger Things Stars, Slash & More

Halloween is the time to celebrate horror, and Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights brought together an impressive collection of genre favorites for a red carpet event. Now, JoBlo’s own Ryan Cultrera is taking fans behind the scenes with interviews featuring stars, filmmakers, special effects legends, and the creative minds behind some of horror’s most memorable experiences.

The Halloween Horror Nights red carpet interview video embedded above features a lineup of guests spanning everything from modern horror hits to cult classics. Whether you’re a fan of Terrifier, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, The Black Phone, or Stranger Things, there’s something here for you.

Cultrera speaks with the cast and crew of Terrifier, the blood-soaked horror franchise that has made Art the Clown a modern genre icon. He also catches up with Madeleine McGraw (The Black Phone and Black Phone 2), Violet McGraw (M3GAN and M3GAN 2.0), and Piper Rubio (Five Nights at Freddy’s and Five Nights at Freddy’s 2), three young performers who have made their mark in recent horror films.

Cult movie fans won’t want to miss the appearances by the Chiodo Brothers, the filmmaking team behind the 1988 classic Killer Klowns from Outer Space, and John Massari, the composer responsible for the film’s unforgettable music. John Murdy, the creative force behind Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights, also joins the conversation, with legendary Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash making a quick appearance. Slash is no stranger to horror, having produced the likes of Nothing Left to Fear, The Breach, and Deathstalker.

The interviews continue with Jacob Chase, director of Come Play and Insidious: Out of the Further (as well as the upcoming Sleepover), Julia Butters, known for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and Bret Gelman, the actor known to Stranger Things fans as Murray Bauman, a.k.a. Bald Eagle.

From the people creating today’s horror sensations to the artists behind beloved cult favorites, this red carpet roundup offers a closer look at the personalities helping keep the genre alive. If you love scary movies, haunted attractions and the people who bring nightmares to life, this is a video worth checking out!
