Han Solo takes his shot in extended TV spot for Solo: A Star Wars Story

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

There are plenty of reasons to remain apprehensive about SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY, ranging from its troubled production to its arrival just months after the release of STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI, but the more we see from the Ron Howard film, the more I'm starting to believe that SOLO will be an entertaining romp. Disney/Lucasfilm released an extended TV spot for the film which shows off some new footage (that little shot of Lando (Donald Glover) tossing Han (Alden Ehrenreich) a blaster during a firefight made me all kinds of happy) and hopes to get us excited about another trip to STAR WARS-land.

The official synopsis for SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY:

Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo befriends his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and meets the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.

SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY will hit theaters on May 25, 2018.
