Here’s a campaign that will go down in the record books – Lionsgate films, in anticipation of the theaterical release of
HARD CANDY is pushing the political movement of fighting against ‘internet violence’ with the Wear Red campaign.

This is a first for me, as I’ve never seen a film campaign strike any sort of political cord, but as the film deals with online predators, and online violence is such a hot topic in the news these days, I guess you could do a lot worse… I guess. So how can you be involved? Well, see, you wear red, and that helps fight online violence. Because of the main charactor of HARD CANDY, who wears a red hoodie…

For more info. on what you can do (like how much red you need to wear to actually make a difference), then head over to the WEAR RED OFFICIAL SITE. So what are you waiting for. Here’s your chance to make a statement and help in the fight. And if you don’t have a red hoodie, I’m sure anything red will do just fine. Not that anyone on the internet will know the difference, but it’s the thought that counts, right? Right!
