Well folks it’s been a while since we’ve heard anything on Jon Favreau’s 2011 summer blockbuster COWBOYS & ALIENS so when a little update pops up in the form of a Harrison Ford interview we might as well tell you about it.
About time we get an update on this thing, right? The film, which now sits comfortably in post-production, is due to hit theaters this Summer yet we haven’t heard a peep from production in months. So what’s the good word today? Check it.
Cinema badass Harrison Ford recently sat down with Access Hollywood to talk about a number of projects he’s involved with, including COWBOYS & ALIENS. Now while Ford doesn’t divulge anything earth shattering it’s nice to see he’s excited about the flick. Scope out what the actor had to say:
“I just finished ‘Cowboys & Aliens’ with Daniel Craig, directed by Jon Favreau. It was really a good experience and I had a great time. …. I had thought maybe I’d never get to make another cowboy movie. They’re so rare these days, but this was a really intriguing project and I think it’s gonna be very exciting. … It’s a real cowboy movie, looks like a cowboy movie, feels like a classic cowboy movie, and then things happen, and then it goes back to being a cowboy movie with this added element. And I think it’s the kind of film that there’s a real broad audience for. I’m very excited for it. I think it’s going to be good.”
Like I said, nothing too exciting but an update is an update.
