I’ve always been a huge fan of Washington Irving’s Headless Horseman tale or, to call it by its proper name, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. You’ve got a darkened farmland, a Halloween setting, and a psycho headless ghost looking to decaptitate anyone who crosses his path. What’s not to love?
Hence, I am really looking forward to Tuesday’s release of the new HEADLESS HORSEMAN on DVD. The fact that JimmyO gave the flick a positive review (here) only heightens my interest. Plus, we’ve got a new exclusive trailer for you to check out below! I’ve got to say, for a STD fright flick, it looks pretty promising.
The modernized version of the plot goes a little something like this: A group of kids get lost on the way to a Halloween party while taking a detour. They soon get caught up in a secluded town and are about to unwillingly take part in a horrific All Hallow’s Eve ritual. Horror and action collide in this thrilling re-invention of the Sleepy Hollow legend.
