So it’s been nearly two decades since Philip Ridley unleashed his writing/directing debut THE REFLECTING SKIN, a well received flick known for starring a young Viggo Mortensen.

Well, after making one film in the interim (THE PASSION OF DARKLY NOON), Ridley is back with a new demonic horror flick called HEARTLESS.

Starring Jim Sturgess, Timothy Spall, Noel Clarke, Clemence Poesy, Eddie Marsan, Joeseph Mawle, Luke Treadaway, Ruth Sheen and Nicholas Tennant – HEARTLESS is about Jamie Morgan (Sturgess), a young man with a large heart-shaped birthmark on his face, who discovers that there are demons on the streets of East London.

More succinctly, Morgan makes a pact with the devil and ends up fighting for his soul.

Though the flick has no certain release date, it was screened last week at the Sitges Film Festival. Hopefully some buyers nabbed that shite up and we’ll be able to see it soon.

In the mean time, cop a look at a 4 minute clip of behind-the-scenes footage from the film below!
