Heigl is Ugly

JoBloJoBlo

Well, it’s official: Katherine Heigl is the new Meg Ryan—or Reese Witherspoon—or Kate Hudson. She’s signed on to star in yet another romantic comedy, after last summer’s KNOCKED UP and the upcoming 27 DRESSES. This one is called THE UGLY TRUTH and it reunites director Rob Luketic with his LEGALLY BLONDE scribes Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith. Hooray!

The ugly truth is that THE UGLY TRUTH doesn’t sound too original. Once again Heigl will be playing a behind-the-scenes TV jockey, this time as a producer for a morning show. When her correspondent claims that—well, I’d better let Variety do the talking because summing up this premise myself will surely prove too tiring, and it’s late: “Story centers on a romantically challenged morning show producer (Heigl) who is reluctantly embroiled in a series of outrageous tests by her chauvinistic correspondent to prove his theories on relationships and help her find love. His clever ploys, however, lead to an unexpected result.”

See, I would expect that Heigl will end up falling for this ‘chauvinistic correspondent’ but the summary claims the result is unexpected, meaning that it’s not what I would expect. Anyway, I’m going to stop writing now so I can Google image search Katherine and hopefully find a photo for this article that displays her formidable breasts (you’ll know by now if I succeeded).
