Filmz.ru has posted the above image as the teaser poster for
Guillermo del Toro’s HELLBOY 2: THE GOLDEN ARMY, but I have to say that
I’m a little skeptical about the whole thing.
I haven’t seen this poster around anywhere else,
which doesn’t mean much, but I just think it’s a little strange that G-d-T would
go with an animated poster. With the animated Hellboy features also being
released STD every few months, I just think it’s strange they wouldn’t go with a
more realistic look to the poster.
On the plus though, the poster does look cool
whatever it is, and is very reminiscent of the Mignola comic art; which is
always superb. But what say you folks out there in cyberspace? Is this the real
deal, or a possible phony? If it is real, does anyone else think that a more
realistic poster should have been used? Spit them bullets people!
