Here are 25 events that led from First Class to X-Men: Days of Future Past

JoBloJoBlo

The time travel element that connects the two time periods in between X-MEN: FIRST CLASS and X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST will be confusing to some not well versed in X-Men lore, but that is what the Internet is for. Thanks to viral sites like 25 Moments, we have a quick and easy way to condense sixty years worth of history from 1962 through 2018 into a handy dandy website.

These 25 moments include actual historical events like the JFK assassination and the fall of the Berlin Wall to include various mutants from X-Men history. This alternate history showcases how major world events were both influential for Mutant rights as well as for the eradication of their kind at the hands of governments and the Trask Corporation.

While all 25 are important, once you get to the contemporary years you begin to see events from X-2 and X-MEN 3: THE LAST STAND come into play as well as some big spoilers that you may not want to know until you have seen X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. If anything, the artwork created for these slides is pretty damn cool as we see various recognized characters like Storm, Quicksilver, Wolverine, Magneto, Colossus, and Kitty Pryde inserted into real and imagined events.

I am more excited than ever to see X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST and hope it lives up to the hype built with sites like this. Check out some selected images from the website below and click here to scroll through them all in full screen glory. X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST hits theaters on May 23, 2014.
