Update: Theater listing, online venues to watch The Interview on Christmas

As if you needed a reason to go see THE INTERVIEW before all of this crazy hacking nonsense, Sony's decision to pull the film from theaters has only increased everyone's desire to see the movie that pissed of North Korea to the point of starting a cyberwar.  By now you know that Sony has decided to release the Seth Rogen and James Franco comedy on Christmas Day, but it will only be in a limited release.

Here is the full listing of theaters showing THE INTERVIEW beginning December 25th followed by some locations over the following week.  There is an expected announcement coming today that the film will hit On Demand services aside from iTunes (more on that here).  We will let you know when/if that is announced.  For now, see if one of these 300 theaters is near you and showing the film via this list.

Update #1: According to CNN, YouTube has tentatively agreed to rent THE INTERVIEW beginning tomorrow. More streaming options currently being evaluated. Stay tuned for more.

Update #2: Sony has also revealed the follow methods to stream THE INTERVIEW beginning December 24th at 1pm EST. Rentals will cost $5.99 or you can purchase the movie for $14.99.

· Google Play: the movie is available to buy or rent at play.google.com, and can be watched in the Play Movies & TV app on Android and iOS phones or tablets, or streamed in the living room via Chromecast, Roku or the Nexus Player.

· YouTube: the movie is available at youtube.com/movies and can be watched on the web, in the YouTube app, or on select living room devices like Chromecast, Apple TV, PlayStation and Xbox.

· Microsoft’s Xbox Video: the movie is available to buy or rent on the Xbox Video app on Xbox One, Xbox 360, Windows 8, Windows Phone 8 and XboxVideo.com.

· SeetheInterview.com: In addition, The Interview is available at the dedicated website http://www.seetheinterview.com, which is sponsored by Sony Pictures and powered by Kernel and with payments through Stripe, a secure payment platform.

UPDATE #3: Reports now have Netflix may begin streaming THE INTERVIEW within the next few days.
