Here is the first awesome teaser for Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation

UPDATE: Three stills, courtesy of USA Today have been added below.

Well, after a whirlwind production shrouded in secrecy worth of an actual IMF mission, we have our first look at footage from the now titled MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE ROGUE NATION. Ethan Hunt and his usual band of agents including Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, and Jeremy Renner are joined by new faces like the gorgeous Rebecca Ferguson and Alec Baldwin for a mission that harkens back to the events of Brian De Palma's original MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE movie as well as the classic TV series.

Here is the official synopsis for MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE ROGUE NATION.

Ethan and team take on their most impossible mission yet, eradicating the Syndicate – an International rogue organization as highly skilled as they are, committed to destroying the IMF.

Now, after Brad Bird's GHOST PROTOCOL upped the ante as high as it could go, I wasn't sure how Christopher McQuarrie could top the stunts but lo and behind we have Tom Cruise hanging off the side of a f*cking airplane! I swear that Cruise has a death wish, but one that benefits all of us. It is also great to see Simon Pegg getting a larger role that in any prior film. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE ROGUE NATION just jumped to the top of my must see movie list for this summer. Oh, who am I kidding, this movie was always on that list.

If this teaser isn't enough to satiate your action movie hunger, a full trailer will be dropping tomorrow. I cannot recall the last time a full teaser and trailer were released so close together, but I am not going to complain. Bring on the ROGUE NATION!

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE ROGUE NATION opens on July 31st.
