A new Batman movie is less than a month away and the fact that it’s animated (in LEGO form, no less) doesn’t look to detract from what seems to be one of the most entertaining movies of the year! Will Arnett returns as the voice of the Dark Knight in these latest TV spots which gives us a whole gallery of heroes and villains. Check it out!
Given Batman’s personality in THE LEGO MOVIE, I absolutely love that they’re tackling him raising Robin in this film. There’s something about this style of animation that really lends itself to the ridiculousness of Batman and the heroes and villains he encounters. Showing him as a surrogate father to Michael Cera‘s Robin seems like it’s really going to pay off. If this ends up being DC’s best film of the year, I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised!
