As most of you know, Jason Eisenor’s HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN started out as just another fake trailer. After Eisener entered it into a contest Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino were holding for GRINDHOUSE, it was chosen and actually placed in front of the movie during its Canadian theatrical run. And a legend was born…

Now Eisener is returning the favor. As you’ll see in the video below, the HOBO director is teaming up with Magnet Releasing for a Fake Trailer competition. All you need is a camera and a dream… of making something really bloody and hilarious. You have until March 31st to submit it HERE. Check out the video for all the details.

Also be sure to peek at our own contest to hit up the Canadian premiere of the film!

As for the movie itself, it’s a pretty gnarly ride; like a lost Troma movie from the 80s was plopped and spewed all over you. It hits Video On Demand on APRIL 1st and theaters on MAY 6th.

Final note: We’ve got an awesome interview with Rutger Hauer waiting in the wings – keep your ears open for that as it’ll hit the Arrow in the Head Podcast within the month.
