The good folks over at Horrorview.com have posted some pre-production pictures of Kane Hodder getting an upper torso mold for his role in the upcoming indie horror flick HATCHET. No surprise he’ll need it since Victor Crowley, the “monster” he plays, was burned and chopped up as a kid. A pretty tragic story really:
Victor Crowley was born hideously deformed, and one night the local children came to his house in the bayou and threw firecrackers at it, causing a fire. His father tried to save Victor, but he used a hatchet to tear down the front door, and didn’t know until too late that Victor was huddled on the other side.
After Victor’s father passed away, folks started disappearing in the swamps, and it’s said that you can still hear Victor cryin’ for his daddy to this day.
Uh, schwing! Tell me that’s not a sweet set up. And honsetly, who cares anyway since Kane Hodder’s in it! After the royal screwing he got over FREDDY VS. JASON, it’ll be awesome to see the man back at what he does best. Carving up teens for spite!
