What’s this? What’s this? A 13-ft. Pumpkin King? What’s this? Do you need such a thing? Home Depot has unveiled an absurdly tall animated Jack Skellington that you can display this Halloween. Hey, the Fourth of July is over – it’s officially Spooky Season!

The official description, as per Home Depot: “Bring the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town to your home with this 13-ft. Animated Jack Skellington. This giant figure will tower over your yard for scares all Halloween season. The head and mouth move for a life-like display and he sings and dances for fun frights.” The display also has two interchangeable heads, glowing LED lights, a built-in motion sensor, and more. It also sings different parts of “Jack’s Lament”.

The retail price is $399 and is limited to one per customer. At 13 feet tall, Jack Skeleton stands one foot over Home Depot’s beloved Skelly, showing him who the real King of Halloween Town is. But if a 13-ft. Jack Skellington is a little out of your price range or just plain too much, Home Depot does also have a 6.5-ft. Jack Skellington…if you want to be a joke in your neighborhood.

2023 marks the 30th anniversary of Tim Burton’s – uh, we mean Henry Selick’sThe Nightmare Before Christmas, which merged Halloween and Christmas so brilliantly that there’s an ongoing debate amongst fans as to which holiday it best falls under. So go ahead, slap a Santa hat on Home Depot’s Jack Skellington and plop him in the snow this December.

While The Nightmare Before Christmas was a box office success upon release – it even earned an Oscar nod for Best Visual Effects, the first fully animated film to do so – it would go on to have a nearly unmatched fanbase that has made it a Hot Topic staple and an annual favorite at Disneyland, as Jack (well, Sandy Claws) and company take over The Haunted Mansion to guide attendees through both the Halloween and Christmas seasons.

Will you pick up Home Depot’s 13-ft. Jack Skellington? Let us know if you’ll be adding this to your Halloween – and Christmas? – display!
