The former cast members of Home Improvement have a mini-reunion as Patricia Richardson posts a photo with her TV kids

Does anybody know what time it is?

Tool time!

For my money, Home Improvement is one of the best family shows ever since the family dynamic is one of the best I’ve ever seen. The show gets overshadowed by the plots of Tim Taylor getting into accidents or getting into the doghouse with his wife, Jill, but if you watch the show, there is an amazing sincerity and some genuine-feeling moments between family members for better or for worse. It’s understandable that Tim Allen would want to have a reunion, as it always looked like the cast was having a ball (especially evidenced by the bloopers at the end). Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like we’ll be getting a true reunion, but that doesn’t mean the cast doesn’t get back together from time to time.

More power!

According to Variety, Patricia Richardson, who portrayed Jill Taylor, is attempting to break the internet by posting a photo on her Instagram that shows her back together with her TV sons — Taran Noah Smith and Jonathan Taylor Thomas. Smith played her youngest son, Mark Taylor, and Jonathan Taylor Thomas played her middle son, Randy. Thomas would go on to become a 90s heartthrob and, unsurprisingly, you began to see more Randy-centric episodes in the middle of the series. Richardson shared her photo with the incredibly wholesome caption, “My other boys.”

Tim Allen hopes for a reunion

As mentioned earlier, Tim Allen, the star of Home Improvement, has been trying to get a reunion together, but there are many factors working against him. While promoting Toy Story 5, Allen addressed that the reunion is not plausible due to “personality problems,” which is likely referring to the legal trouble that cast member Zachary Ty Bryan is currently in. Richardson addressed years ago that none of the former co-stars are really on board, “I mean, Zach is now a felon. Taran [Noah Smith] hasn’t acted since he left the show; he’s not an actor anymore. And Jonathan’s not really interested in acting. He wants to direct and write. And we don’t have Wilson.”
