Millennium Entertainment has acquired the U.S. rights to TRESPASS. The home invasion thriller stars Nicolas Cage, Nicole Kidman (below), Ben Mendelsohn, Cam Gigandet and Liana Liberato. A fall release is planned. No word on if it will be theatrical, but one would assume so based on the names attached.

The film is directed by Joel Schumacher (THE LOST BOYS, PHONE BOOTH) and written by Karl Gajdusek (“DEAD LIKE ME”). It’s produced by Avi Lerner, Trevor Short, Danny Dimbort, Irwin Winkler, David Winkler, Boaz Davidson, Rene Besson and Matthew F. Leonetti Jr. for Nu Image/Millennium Films, marking their fourth collaboration with Cage (most recently including DRIVE ANGRY).

The story centers on a man who has everything – a beautiful wife, a teenage daughter, a lavish estate – and is confronted with the reality of losing it all when he and his family become the victims of a vicious home invasion.
