Home Video Horrors 2022 calendar pays tribute to VHS covers

The folks over at LunchmeatVHS.com have just unveiled a very cool limited edition item, the Home Video Horrors 2022 Calendar! A collaboration with photographer extraordinaire Jacky Lawrence, the calendar features “12 brand spankin’ new photo tributes to some of the most iconic, incredible, and eye-popping VHS covers ever to stalk the horror section of the video store!” The only problem is, this release is extremely limited: only 250 of these calendars are being made. So if you want one, get over to LunchmeatVHS and score a copy as fast as you can!

Here’s some more information on the calendar:

HOME VIDEO HORRORS is a visual love letter to the greatest VHS covers in the horror genre, featuring the phenomenal photography of Jacky Lawrence. Each month of the calendar vibrantly celebrates a different VHS from the cult classics shelf, thoughtfully set in a scene reflective of the film’s signature content.

The HOME VIDEO HORRORS 2022 Calendar measures approx.. 8.5 x 11 inches closed, and 17 x 11 inches opened and is printed on high-quality, full-color semi-gloss paper.

Previews of five months from the calendar, featuring the VHS art of Peter Jackson’s Dead-Alive, Killer Workout, Maniac, Gore-Met: Zombie Chef from Hell, and Elves can be seen below. The previews also reveal that the calendar has the imagery of many horror icons in there to represent special dates.

I really miss the days of walking into a video store and seeing the awesome artwork that graced the covers of VHS boxes back in the day, so I love the idea of a calendar that celebrates VHS art all year.
