Hood & Bowman’s Fear

Thank God for these social networks, you know? Without them we wouldn’t be able to check our friend’s “status updates” (which always provide deep insight) or “attack their vampires” (to be honest, I still don’t really even know what the f*ck’s going on with that). More importantly, we wouldn’t make new friends, however far away they may be. This time I’m being serious.

Through one of these networks I’ve made friends with Sean Hood, screenwriter (HALLOWEEN: RESURRECTION; THE CROW 2). And because he recognizes what a cool guy I am – or perhaps because he knows what my job is – he sent me an intriguing heads-up about his next project: A FEAR ITSELF episode!

FEAR ITSELF is of course MASTERS OF HORROR transplanted to NBC. It’s already attracted names like John Landis, Darren Lynn Bousman, and Stuart Gordon. Now you can add Hood’s name – as well as Rob Bowman’s (REIGN OF FIRE, ELECTRA), who will be directing the episode. Unfortunately, but understandably, Mr. Hood couldn’t let me in on what the story is, although he made it known that it was something he felt very strongly about. Fingers crossed that the limitations of network t.v. doesn’t strangle this show…
