Horror in Seattle

Living in Seattle, I hear a lot shite about what people think Seattle’s all about. Rain. Coffee. Grunge. And yes, Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan’s romantic comedy SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE. As if that f*ckin’ movie defines what it’s like to live in Seattle. The Seattle I know is grey more than it is rainy, we require coffee (but we’re more than just Starbuck’s people), there’s a bar on every corner, and we’re home to some great horror shows, like THE RING and TV’s underrated MILLENIUM.


So when iFilm busted out the horror filled trailer for SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE, I couldn’t get enough of it! Much like the funny remixed trailer for THE SHINING a few months back, SEATTLE is cut together with creepy background music, a collection of dark sequences, that annoying kid screaming his head off, and some great one liners that could be taken the wrong way… to bring us one of the scariest slasher/horror movies EVER!

I’m talkin’ FATAL ATTRACTION, SINGLE WHITE FEMALE and FEAR all wrapped into one movie (ok, so those are all basically the same movie, but still…)- starring Hanks and Ryan to boot! And hats off to Ryan by the way, she’s up there with Glenn Close as one of the craziest stalkin’ bitches to ever grace the silver screen!
