DEAD HEAT (1988) – The Black Sheep

On this week's BLACK SHEEP episode we take a look back at the fun as hell horror comedy DEAD HEAT directed by Mark Goldblatt (The Punisher) and starring Treat Williams and Joe Piscopo. Although the film wasn't well received upon its initial release, we're here to stand up for the this bad boy and say – IT OWNS!! Check the video and hear our case as to why we love iT!

THE GHOST AND THE DARKNESS – The Best Horror Movie You Never Saw

Today we take a look back at the shamelessly forgotten horror /adventure THE GHOST AND THE DARKNESS (1996). This slick flick was loosely based on the true story of the Tsavo Man-Eaters i.e. the two lions that killed workers in East Africa while they were the building of the Uganda-Mombasa Railway in 1898.

The film was directed by Stephen Hopkins Director of NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 5, PREDATOR 2 and JUDGMENT NIGHT and starred two Hollywood titans: Val Kilmer and Michael Douglas. Tap the video to find out why we think it needs a first visit or even a re-visit!

LOVE, SECRETS AND HORROR – Scary Studies

Written and narrated by Cody Meirick, director of the documentary about Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, Scary Studies aims to delve into the stories, the films, and the meanings behind the scary stories we tell ourselves.

LOVE, SECRETS AND HORROR : Love, marriage, and secrets are a common theme in horror movies, folktales, and scary stories. How can we ever really know who this person is? What secrets do they have underneath the surface? We look at the infamous Green Ribbon story, the Netflix adaptation of Stephen King's Gerald's Game, Tales from the Darkside The Movie, The Shining, and more examples to explore this fundamental fear.

Last week's collection of AITH videos can be seen HERE.
