Here is the clever and spooky teaser trailer for ANNABELLE, the James Wan-produced prequel to THE CONJURING. I dig the unorthodox approach Warner Bros. has taken to sell the eerie atmosphere of the flick; not your standard trailer by any means.
The plot is being kept under wraps, but c’mon. I don’t think it takes a detective to put the pieces together here: Creepy doll, end of story.
Hitting theaters on October 3rd, ANNABELLE stars Annabelle Wallis, Alfre Woodard, Ward Horton, Tony Amendola, Eric Ladin and Brian Howe. It was directed by John Leonetti.
