Berenice Marlohe will Meander through a death trap for Mathieu Turi

Berenice Marlohe Skyfall

A former assistant director who worked on such films as INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS and THE ABCs OF DEATH, Mathieu Turi recently made his own feature directorial debut with a Xavier Gens-produced post-apocalyptic thriller called HOSTILE. While HOSTILE makes its way out into the world (Sony's 4Digital Media will be releasing the film in the U.S.), Turi is already assembling his second feature... and his choice for the lead actress just guaranteed that I'm going to be watching his movie.

That actress is Berenice Marlohe, who first caught my attention when she appeared in the 2012 James Bond film SKYFALL (pictured above).

Marlohe will be starring in Turi's sci-fi horror film MEANDER, in which

a woman wakes up in a strange tube full of deadly traps. Her only option is to keep moving forward. But it is not clear how far she can get.

MEANDER is expected to begin filming by the end of the year. It's being produced by Thomas Lubeau, Eric Gendarme, and Olivier Chateau of Full Time Films.

I'm not sure how interested I would be in a movie about a woman meandering down a tube if I weren't an established fan of the actress involved, but since it will be Marlohe I'm looking forward to this one.
