Big Willy Smith taking a vampire bite out of the bible in Legend of Cain?

Another day, another potential starrer for Big Willy!

Now that he’s likely to compete with his own son for box-office kingdom for the remainder of his days, Will Smith must choose his film roles wisely. Dude’s hedging his bets with the proven MIB 3D, and has a staggering 30…yes 30 additional projects in various stages of development. Better make that thirty one!

According to Deadline, Smith is eyeing a vampiric role in THE LEGEND OF CAIN, a modern biblical retelling with a bloodsucking twist. The script comes from Caleeb Pinkett and Dan Knauf, and will be produced by Smith’s better half Jada Pinkett-Smith (below), as well as James Lassiter and Ken Stovitz. So far no direct has been attached.

Smith starts filming MIB 3D next month, so we’ll have to wait and see how much steam this project gathers. Hopefully the shite gets made before BAD BOYS 3. Nah’mean?

Rip a vein and let it flow yo…you diggin’ the sound of this…or is Big Willy reaching a bit on this one? My take is he knows vampires are all the rage these days, and given how successful THE KARATE KID was for his son, dude needs to remain relevant. Maybe Will ought to pass the torch for good, kick his feet up and watch the coin collect in full. Either that or cut another rap album.

Oh well, some parents just don’t understand!
