Byzantium has a brand new international trailer

INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE is a great flick, and now its Irish director Neil Jordan is trying to kill what TWILIGHT did to vampires introducing a new generation of bloodsuckers in this new international trailer for BYZANTIUM.

Saoirse Ronan and Gemma Arterton star in the upcoming film as two vampires living in a small town in Ireland and the synopsis sings like this:

“Two mysterious women seek refuge in a run-down coastal resort. Clara meets lonely Noel, who provides shelter in his deserted guesthouse, Byzantium. Schoolgirl Eleanor befriends Frank and tells him their lethal secret. They were born 200 years ago and survive on human blood. As knowledge of their secret spreads, their past catches up on them with deathly consequence.”

The film was nominated for the 2012 Toronto Film Festival. Jordan is making vampires scary once again and I'm eager to see the results. There's no release date set yet.

The screenplay was written by Moira Buffini. Jonny Lee Miller, Caleb Landry Jones, Sam Riley, and Tom Hollander all star in the movie. WestEnd Films produced, and StudioCanal is distributing in the UK, with IFC Films releasing in the US.

Extra Tidbit: Gemma Arterton will bite you real soon!
