We've gotten our hands on a couple clips from Jaume Collet-Serra's upcoming shark thriller THE SHALLOWS, brief excerpts from the film that show the lead character, played by Blake Lively, making progress on her path toward trouble in paradise.
Lively plays
a young woman who is dealing with the recent death of her mother. While surfing on an isolated beach, she gets stranded 20 yards off shore on a buoy. What lies between her and the shore is a huge great white shark.
There isn't any shark action in these clips, but they're worth checking out if you're a fan of beautiful locations and photogenic actresses. The highlight of the first clip is Lively's smile when she reaches her destination, while her cleavage earns a co-starring credit in the second clip.
THE SHALLOWS swims into theatres on June 24th.
