Confirmed: Clint Howard is in Rob Zombie’s 3 from Hell

Clint Howard The Ice Cream Man

Yesterday, writer/director Rob Zombie shared an image from the set of his new film 3 FROM HELL that showed artwork of a clown called Mr. Baggy Britches. Zombie invited fans to guess, "Who the f*ck is this dude?", and the most common guess was that Mr. Baggy Britches would be brought to life by beloved character actor Clint Howard.

Anyone who guessed Howard has been proven correct today, as Zombie took to his social media accounts again to confirm that Howard is indeed in the 3 FROM HELL cast. This marks Zombie and Howard's fourth time working on a film together, as Howard previously had roles in Zombie's HALLOWEEN remake and THE LORDS OF SALEM, and did voice work on his animated feature THE HAUNTED WORLD OF EL SUPERBEASTO. (I always forget about that one.)

Also in cast of 3 FROM HELL, which is a sequel to HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES and THE DEVIL'S REJECTS, are ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13's Austin Stoker, genre icon Dee Wallace, Zombie regular Jeff Daniel Phillips, Sons of Anarchy's Emilio Rivera, and musician/rising character actor Billy Blair.

Reprising their roles from CORPSES and REJECTS are Bill Moseley as Otis, Sid Haig as Captain Spaulding, and Sheri Moon Zombie as Baby. Since Captain Spaulding is a clown himself, I have a feeling he's going to have some kind of unpleasant interaction with Mr. Baggy Britches.

Daniel Roebuck is back as his REJECTS character Morris Green, and Zombie has also shared a picture of himself and Roebuck on set together.

3 FROM HELL is currently filming in the Los Angeles area. We'll continue to keep you updated on it as production progresses.
