Denise Richards & Mischa Barton team-up on The Toybox

This is a good Horror Hotties team-up. One of the better ones I have seen in the last few months at least. Yes, uber-duper hotties Denise Richards (WILD THINGS) and Mischa Barton (THE SIXTH SENSE) will be joining their hotness rings together to form one mega-ultra hottie– I’m just kidding. I was going for a Captain Planet thing there but gave up halfway through.

Anyhow, back to the news. Yes, the two actresses will are set to star in a flick called THE TOYBOX. Box… Nope, no jokes here. THE TOYBOX is a supernatural thriller from the team behind CLOWNTOWN, and director Tom Nagel will return on this film from a script he co-wrote with Jeff Denton. Production is currently underway.

THE TOYBOX synopsis:

A family goes on a cross-country trip across America and get stranded in the desert by a supernatural force that is slowly killing them off.

Sounds like this should be called THE HILLS HAVE HOTTIES. Easy. Simple. Could be cool. Richards plays a mother stranded with her family in the desert, while Barton plays another traveler who joins the group and gets caught up in the otherworldly evil. Co-stars include Brian Nagel, Greg Violand, Matt Mercer, Malika Michelle, David H. Greathouse, and Katie Keene.
