Evil clones seek to replace their counterparts in Recreator

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Here’s the trailer for a trippy sci-fi thriller called RECREATOR, which basically pits a trio of teenagers against their devious clones in the middle of the woods. For a film that is obviously going after the PG-13 audience, it doesn’t look like a bad time. It’s got Stella Maeve in it, who I really enjoyed in MY SUPER PSYCHO SWEET 16 2 (don’t judge), so I’m down. Check out the preview and decide for yourself…

The synopsis:
Duplicates. Doubles. Recreations. Call them what you will, they are exact copies of Craig, Tracy and Derek, three friends on a camping trip who accidentally trigger a deadly experiment left by the Recreator—a mysterious scientist with a gift for cloning.

Trapped by their captors, the teenagers are no match for their physically stronger, faster, better selves. Their only hope is to outwit them and to escape with their lives before they are replaced.

Directed by Gregory Orr, RECREATOR stars Stella Maeve (pictured below), John de Lancie, Alexander Nifong and Jamal Mallory-McCree. It doesn’t have a release date yet, but we’ll keep you updated on that front. Hit up the official website HERE.
