Friday the 13th: The Game gets all new custom Jason design by Tom Savini!

Since the FRIDAY THE 13TH film series has been dragging its backwoods, undead ass around Hollywood doing everything imaginable BESIDES producing a flick, the world has learned to look elsewhere for its FRIDAY THE 13TH fix.

Turns out, duh, the fans are the ones keeping the flame alive. Are you listening, Hollywood? Nope. Of course not. RINGS flopped so executives, no doubt, think horror blogs are not "in" right now. Don't worry, they'll be back soon.

Anyhow, no set of fans are doing a more commendable job of keeping FRIDAY THE 13TH alive and slaughtering in our hearts like the team behind the amazingly cool-looking FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME.

Go figure, those guys are still chugging ahead and producing quality for us all. They obviously give a sh*t. Case in point, today they announced that none other than SFX master Tom "Sex Machine" Savini has designed a whole new Jason for the game (see pic below).

Here's the catch.

This version of Jason is ONLY AVAILABLE THROUGH PRE-ORDER. Was that enough caps and red to get that detail to sink in? For your sake I hope so.
