Friday the 13th: The Game

A lot of FRIDAY THE 13TH fans have been enjoying the online multiplayer version of Friday the 13th: The Game for a while now, while many more have been waiting to hear when they'll be able to get their hands on a physical edition of the game. The release date for that physical edition has now been announced by Gun Media and IllFonic, and it's the most perfect release date imaginable.

We won't be getting the new FRIDAY THE 13TH film that Paramount had once scheduled for a Friday, October 13th release, but that October Friday the 13th is when the physical edition of the game is set to launch.

Physical copies of the game will cost $39.99 and will include

Exclusive free Bloody Jason Skin for all playable Jasons and a free pack of clothing for each of the playable camp counselors.

The Xbox One version of the game can be pre-ordered on Amazon at THIS LINK and the PlayStation 4 version can be pre-ordered there at THIS LINK.

Along with the release date announcement comes a new trailer for the game that can be seen below.
