Hammer Films’ resurgence looks to continue with the supernatural chiller THE QUIET ONES, which soon goes into production with John Pogue (QUARANTINE 2) behind the camera. According to Deadline.com, the film is one step closer to getting underway with the casting of Sam Claflin (pictured).

Claflin joins the previously announced Jared Harris, who plays a charismatic but controversial professor whose methods lead his students off the grid for a dangerous experiment to create a poltergeist.

The young Brit was seen last year in PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES and will be playing opposite Kristen Stewart in the June release SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN.

Shooting on THE QUIET ONES begins next month in the UK.
