Can't handle that medical testing scene from THE EXORCIST? Or that part in SAW II where Shawnee Smith is dumped into a pit of hypodermic needles? Then you might not want to check out this new clip from EVOLUTION, the new film from French director Lucile Hadzihalilovic. This clip gives next to nothing away about the content of the movie, except that there's for sure gonna be some gruesome medical malpractice going on. Check it out below!

Hadzihalilovic wrote the screenplay with Alanté Kavaïté and Geoff Cox, about:

ten-year-old Nicolas, who lives in a remote seaside village populated only by boys his age and adult women. When he makes a disturbing discovery beneath the ocean waves — a dead boy with a red starfish on his stomach — Nicolas begins to question everything about his existence. What are the half-remembered images he recalls, as if from another life? If the woman he lives with is not his mother, then who is she? And what awaits the boys when they are all suddenly confined to a hospital?

The film stars Max Brebant, Roxane Duran, Julie-Marie Parmentier, and Mathieu Goldfeld. IFC Midnight will bring EVOLUTION to limited theaters and VOD this Friday, November 25th.
