Jacob’s Ladder remake?

You know we’ve hit remake rock bottom when we start tampering with stuff that originally came out in the 90’s. Yup, that’s right, a movie that came out in the 90’s is now being thrown into the never-ending remake machine. The 1990 film JACOB’S LADDER is getting the remake treatment, this time by the team over at Lionsgate. – This according to Variety.

JACOB’S LADDER was originally directed by Adrian Lyne and starred Tim Robbins as a Vietnam war veteran who is being attacked by horned creatures on the subway and his dead son visits him.

Maybe SHOW GIRLS is next on the remake assembly line.
