Jamie Lee Curtis and Emma Roberts join Ryan Murphy’s Scream Queens

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

“Scream Queens”, the new series from “American Horror Story” producers Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, has commenced casting, and genre fans should be quite pleased with the initial results: Entertainment Weekly reports Jamie Lee Curtis, who is of course the Scream Queen, and Emma Roberts, herself a horror vet thanks to “AHS” and SCREAM 4, have joined the show.

Not much is known about the plot of the series, which is an anthology, but we do know the first season revolves around a college campus that’s rocked by a series of murders.

Can you ask for better casting than this?

Fox has ordered 15 “Scream Queens,” the plan is to air it next fall. The series is co-created by Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan. Murphy, Falchuk, Brennan and Dante Di Loreto will serve as executive producers.
