Twelve years after the release of JEEPERS CREEPERS 2, JEEPERS CREEPERS 3 is finally ready to take flight. Screen Daily is reporting that Myriad Pictures has begun international sales on the sequel, which it will produce via its new Scoundrel label.

Victor Salva will once again write and direct the film, which is scheduled to begin shooting in Vancouver early next year. Jonathan Breck will return as The Creeper, while Brandon Smith will once again portray Sergeant Davis Tubbs.

JEEPERS CREEPERS 3 takes place on the final day of the Creeper’s feeding frenzy as a task force closes in on discovering the fiend’s origins.

“Writing and directing a new Jeepers film, the first in over a decade, is incredibly exciting for me and I believe for Jeepers fans all over the world that have been asking for more,” said Salva.

Francis Ford Coppola’s American Zoetrope, which produced the first two films, will co-produce with Kirk Shaw and Surai Gohill’s Odyssey Media and Stan Spry’s The Cartel. Coppola, Shaw and Spry will produce and Myriad chief Kirk D’Amico serves as executive producer.
