Non-Stop Lupita Nyong'o

Filming began yesterday on writer/director Jordan Peele's second feature US, with production set to take place entirely in California, including some work on the Universal Studios backlot.

Lupita Nyong’o (pictured above in NON-STOP), Winston Duke, Elisabeth Moss, and Tim Heidecker star in the film, which tells a story that is still being kept under wraps. All that has been revealed is that it's a "social thriller" that involves

two couples, one white, one black.

Joining previously announced co-stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Anna Diop are child actors Shahadi Wright Joseph, Evan Alex, Cali Sheldon, and Noelle Sheldon, and newcomer Madison Curry.

Joseph has appeared on the Hairspray Live! television event and did voice work for Jon Favreau's upcoming live action version of THE LION KING. Alex had a role in the series Mani. The Sheldon twins have been working in the entertainment industry since they were infants, when they were seen on Friends as Ross and Rachel's daughter Emma.

Peele is producing US through his company Monkeypaw Productions. Sean McKittrick, Jason Blum, and Ian Cooper are producing along with him, while Daniel Lupi serves as executive producer.

The crew includes cinematographer Mike Gioulakis, production designer Ruth De Jong, editor Nicholas Monsour, costume designer Kym Barrett, and composer Michael Abels.

US is set to be released on March 15, 2019.

Peele won a Best Screenplay Oscar for his first film, GET OUT.
