While this new FINAL DESTINATION 5 poster is cool and all – I couldn’t help noticing something. See right down there, in the bottom right corner? It says “In 3D”, all timid-like. A big change from last year, when almost every 3D movie boasted about the format front and center on their ad materials. I guess the public’s growing displeasure with the gimmick has become more than obvious to the marketing departments. How long before posters proudly scream “In awesome 2D!”..?
In any event, here’s the synopsis for FD5: In this fifth installment, Death is just as omnipresent as ever, and is unleashed after one man’s premonition saves a group of coworkers from a terrifying suspension bridge collapse. But this group of unsuspecting souls was never supposed to survive, and, in a terrifying race against time, the ill-fated group frantically tries to discover a way to escape Death’s sinister agenda.
