Video! We explore the films/relationship of Jeffrey Combs & Stuart Gordon!

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Last month, we lost one of our greatest genre filmmakers when Stuart Gordon passed away at the age of 72. In the latest episode of our Deadly Duos video series, which is one of several shows that can be found on our JoBlo Horror Videos channel (check it out and subscribe!), we pay tribute to Gordon and his career by taking a look at his working relationship and friendship with actor Jeffrey Combs.

Gordon found a place for Combs in nearly every movie or TV show he directed, whether giving him lead roles in classics like RE-ANIMATOR and FROM BEYOND, or having him appear in cameos or even provide vocal performances. In this episode of Deadly Duos,

we explore that darkly comical horror world of Stuart Gordon and his many glorious collaborations with beloved genre staple Jeffrey Combs. From Re-Animator to Edgar Allan Poe, these two have created some truly iconic horror work. Heads up for Deadly Duos!

Created by Steven Espinoza and Chris Vander Kaay,

Deadly Duos is Arrow in the Head’s series dedicated to featuring the iconic pairings of filmmakers who have worked together multiple times in horror films.
