The first draft of Terrifier 2 has been completed

Terrifier Damien Leone David Howard Thornton

I was pleasantly surprised to see how just how popular writer/director Damien Leone's TERRIFIER became when the movie was made available on the Netflix streaming service. It seemed like everybody was talking about Art the Clown, the creepy, homicidal character at the center of the film. Well, it turns out that this is a sort "speak of the devil and he appears" situation. You talk about Art the Clown enough, and he'll come back.

Yesterday, Leone took to the Art the Clown Facebook page to reveal that he had just finished writing the first draft of the screenplay for TERRIFIER 2. According to Leone, the script is "INSANE" and Art is "back and he's badder than ever!" It's hard to imagine he could get much worse than he already was.

Leone doesn't have any information on when the movie might happen at this point, but he assured fans that they're working to bring us TERRIFIER 2 as soon as possible. We'll keep you updated as the sequel moves forward.

Starring David Howard Thornton as Art the Clown, the first TERRIFIER was about

a maniacal clown terrorizing three young women on Halloween night, and everyone else who stands in his way!

Art the Clown previously appeared in Leone's anthology film ALL HALLOWS' EVE.
