A week or so ago we let you guys know that THE SIXTH SENSE child-star Haley Joel Osment (yes, that Haley Joel Osment) had joined the upcoming 11th season of FOX's THE X-FILES. And today we can tell you when the new season will premiere!
Yes, the new season of THE X-FILES will be hitting FOX on Wednesday, Jan. 3 at 8 p.m. Not only that but we have the season's new poster that boasts "The Truth Is Closer Than Ever." We'll see about that.

THE X-FILES Season 11 rundown:
The 10 episode season will start right where the previous season's finale left off, with that big helicopter and takes you right from there. You'll be launched into a very urgent adventure that has a lot to do with William — Mulder and Scully's kid. So the search for William will be a significant thread through the show.
THE X-FILES Season 11 stars David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Mitch Pileggi, Annabeth Gish, William B. Davis, Haley Joel Osment, and Barbara Hershey.
