Here’s a match made in horror heaven: Ti West (THE INNKEEPERS, V/H/S) and Eli Roth (HOSTEL). The duo are bringing their heads together on a project called THE SACRAMENT, which West will direct and Roth will produce. Of course, Roth directed CABIN FEVER, while West directed its terrible sequel, but we don’t really count that. (He sure as hell doesn’t.)

Unfortunately, there aren’t any details available regarding the plot. However, we do know that it will begin shooting at the end of the month in Georgia.

“We want to make this Ti’s first mainstream movie, without sacrificing the quality and unflinching horror of the subject matter,” Roth said.

Worldview Entertainment is putting up the money for the horror pic. Worldview is also producing Roth’s return to the director’s chair, GREEN INFERNO, which begins production this fall in Chile and Peru.
