Reading the title of this article you guys are probably scratching your head asking ‘Who?’ Right? Right. Well chances are if I said it was that ‘Wormtail’ guy from the HARRY POTTER flicks it might start ringing some bells… Either way if you take a look at that pic to the right I’d say Timothy Spall is damn-near perfect to play the late, great Alfred Hitchcock!

And according to the guys over at Bloody-Disgusting he will be doing just that in the upcoming BBC film THE GIRL. Want the rundown on this shite? Course you do. Check it:

The film follows the life and relationship of Alfred Hitchcock and his discovery of Tippi Hedren (originally played by Melanie Daniels) and the turmoil that surrounded them while making The Birds (1963), and how his ultimate failure ended up destroying both their careers.

Word has it the biopic is also looking at the gorgeous January Jones for the role of ‘Tippi Hedren.’ Now there’s no word on when production on THE GIRL will get started, or who will be directing this bad larry, but we do know that Gwenyth Hughes penned the script.

So what do you guys think? Timothy Spall a good choice to step into Hitchcock’s famous shadow? Let us know how you’re feeling about this one below and keep it here for anything and everything Hitchcock that might come our way.
