Trailer: Joe Bob Briggs comments on the movies in his Christmas marathon

A Very Joe Bob Christmas

Joe Bob Briggs made his triumphant return to broadcast movie hosting with a 13 movie marathon on the Shudder streaming service back in July and followed that up with a 4 movie all-nighter two weeks ago, on Thanksgiving. Next year Joe Bob will be hosting weekly double features on Shudder, but before we get there he has another marathon to host.

Titled A Very Joe Bob Christmas, this marathon is set to happen on the Friday before Christmas. It's another 4 movie all-nighter, and this time all of the movies are part of the same franchise… but neither Joe Bob or Shudder are revealing what that franchise is.

In a newly released trailer for the marathon, Joe Bob says these 4 films

represent the spirit of drive-in Christmas. And since the movies don’t make a lick of sense, you’re gonna need artificial stimulation, if you know what I mean, and I think you do. And so, we’re actually protecting your ass by encouraging you to be stupid at home, instead of going out and ending up as an episode of Cops."

1 franchise. 4 films that don't make a lick of sense, but represent the spirit of drive-in Christmas. The first assumption would be that the marathon is going to consist of 66.6% of the SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT series… but if it's not SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT, what else could it be? And if it is SNDN, which 4 of the 6 will it be?

These questions will be answered when Shudder airs A Very Joe Bob Christmas on December 21st.

The trailer, released through Entertainment Weekly, can be seen below.
